This website describes our inspection services, gives price estimates, lets you request an appointment or ask a question, and lets realtors request a continuing education class.

Price estimates shown on this site are estimates. The final price depends on the property, the services selected, and what we find when we schedule. We confirm the price with you before the inspection takes place.

Submitting a form or opening the online scheduler is a request, not a confirmed booking. An appointment is confirmed when we confirm it with you directly. Scheduling is handled through a scheduler provided by Scope Inspect, and using it is subject to that provider's own terms.

The scope of an inspection, what is included and excluded, the report you receive, and any guarantee are set out in the inspection agreement you sign, together with the Texas Consumer Protection Notice published on this site.

By providing your mobile phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages from 1st Rate Inspections LLC related to scheduling your inspection, appointment reminders and confirmations, delivery of your inspection report, and replies to questions you send us. Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier. You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying with "STOP" to any SMS message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message, and we will cease sending SMS messages to your number. If you need assistance or have questions about our SMS service, reply with "HELP" to any SMS message you receive, or contact our customer support team at (832) 567-5791 or clientcare@1strateinspections.com. Your phone number will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share SMS opt-in consent with any third parties for solicitation purposes.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. The checkbox on our forms is optional and is never ticked for you.

When using this site, you agree not to:

• Submit false information or someone else's contact details without their permission.
• Use the forms to send unsolicited advertising or any unlawful or abusive content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its systems, or other users' information.
• Copy, scrape, or republish substantial parts of this site for commercial use without our permission.

The text, photographs, reports, logos, and design on this site belong to us or to the people we licensed them from, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may view and print pages for your own use in arranging an inspection. Any other use needs our written permission.

Reviews and quotations from customers are reproduced as they were given to us.

We work to keep the information on this site correct and current, including prices, service areas, and inspector licences. We do not promise that every page is free of error or that the site is always available. We may change or remove content on this site at any time.

Information on this site is general and is not a substitute for an inspection of your specific property, or for advice from a licensed engineer, contractor, or attorney.

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, such as lost profits or lost opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Our responsibility for an inspection is set out in the signed inspection agreement, not in these website terms.

This site links to websites run by other companies, including our scheduler, our social media pages, and the continuing education catalogue for realtors. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute about this website will be handled in the courts serving Harris County, Texas.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
